About Coach Vera’s Slow & Steady Health Program

Coach Vera’s Slow & Steady Health Program is dedicated to supporting individuals throughout New York City in achieving long-term health and wellness. With five CDC National Diabetes Prevention Program-trained Lifestyle Coaches and dedicated RNs, we deliver evidence-based, inclusive care for diabetes prevention and better living.

We offer year-long programs including group classes and personalized support, health screenings, nutrition and cooking workshops, and guided walking groups. Our program is unique in integrating hands-on experiences like distributing Health Bucks, hosting exercise sessions on Zoom, and providing raw food culinary education—empowering members to establish sustainable, healthy habits for life.
